healthy cereal balls

this is my recipe for cereal balls. i took the base from several other recipes and then changed them almost entirely! this is very healthy and will last you about a week in the fridge if you eat about 1-2 cups a day. the recipe makes about 10-11 cups.

cereal balls

1 cup quick oats
1 cup oats
1 cup ground organic flax seed
1 cup milled organic chia seed
2/3 cup organic hemp protein powder, 50% protein (yes it is green and yes it smells like grass but you will not notice it at all, I PROMISE!!!)
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2-2 cups of crushed plain/original cheerios
1 cup maranatha roasted almond butter
2/3 cup of blackberry honey

mix all of the dry ingredients together. then add the almond butter and the honey. mix slightly with spoon but mix with your hands until completely mixed; you're hands will be pretty dirty but it's well worth it! cover and place in frig. tastes best if refrigerated for at least 30 minutes before eating. keep in frig covered until all gone. after you refrigerate for about 30 minutes, you can take it out and roll it into balls but you don't have to!
i eat this for breakfast almost every morning but it is also a great snack when i am wanting something a little sweet! i hope you enjoy it as much as i do!
